~ How to shop ~

If this is your first visit to Patchwork Interactive's online shop then you'll need to create a shopping account before you can make a purchase.

Opening an account is both quick and easy. There is no charge for doing so, plus you will be able to check your order status and keep track of your purchase history.

Every account owner gets free membership to our 'VIQ Club'. Each member goes in the draw to win great monthly prizes. Prize winners are announced in our monthly newsletter so make sure you sign up! Just for opening an account we will send you a free pattern with your first purchase valued at $19.95. As well as great prizes the newsletter will keep you informed about special offers and new free projects posted at the site.

How to Create an Account

To create an account click on the Member Login or the Become a Member area in the top left of the page, or click on the My Account tab in the menu bar below.

Now click the Become a Member button and fill out all the required fields. Your information is stored securely, your privacy is assured and your details can be updated by you when ever you log-in.

When you have correctly entered your details click 'Submit'. You will then receive an email with instructions on activating your account.

If you already have an Account

When you come back to shop at Patchwork Interactive, simply Login using your email address and password. The login form is on all pages of the site.

Forgotten your password?

Don't worry if you forget your password. On the member login page enter your email address into the password retrieve area and a new secure password will be sent to you. When you next login you will be able to update the new password with something easier for you to remember in the 'My Account' section.

Shopping and Shop Search

Down the left hand side of the page you will notice we have grouped our products into categories. Click on these links to navigate through to product groups. For example clicking on 'Patchwork Patterns' will take you to a list of pattern designers. Clicking on one of these designers will take you to a catalogue of that specific designer.

If you're looking for a particular product, for example patterns containing 'dolphins', type the keyword 'dolphin' into the 'Product Search' field on the top right of the page. You will be presented with every product available matching your search criteria within our shop.

Add items to your Shopping Bag

When you find a product you want to buy simply click the 'Buy Now' or 'Add to Cart' button. To confirm your selection you will be redirected to your Shopping Cart and the Shopping Cart area in the top left hand column will also update. You can add as many different products as you like to your Shopping Cart.

By default one of each item is added to your Shopping Cart each time you click the 'Buy Now' or 'Add to Cart' buttons. To purchase multiples go to your Shopping Cart, insert the Quantity you want and click the 'Update Shopping Cart' button to recalculate your subtotal.

If you decide against buying a particular item, check the Remove box, that item will be removed from your list of purchases and your subtotal will be re-calculated.

If you are logged in and for any reason can't complete a purchase, your current Shopping Cart is automatically saved, ready for the next time you login.

Discount Coupon Redemption

If you have received a Discount Coupon (for example, as a new customer or as part of our ongoing special offers programme) the email will include a Coupon Redeem Code. Enter this code in the box provided during Checkout and click the 'Update' button before progressing to enter your credit card details.

eVoucher Redemption

Patchwork Interactive eVouchers are purchased in the same way as regular products at the Patchwork Interactive shop. Five values are available: $20, $40, $60 $80 and $100. Once purchased the eVoucher value will be added to your eVoucher balance ready for you to send on to a friend or loved one – or for you to use towards future purchases. See our eVoucher FAQ page for details about how to buy, send and redeem eVouchers.

Destination Postcode & Shipping Method

This page displays your currently selected Shipping Address. If you want to add a new Shipping Address click the 'Change Address' button.

Below Shipping Address are your available Shipping Methods. See our Shipping & Returns page for more information.

Checkout/Pay for your Purchases

When you've finished adding items to your Shopping Cart and are ready to pay for your purchases fill in your shipping options and click click the the 'Checkout' button on the bottom right of the Shopping Cart page.

Checkout – Step 1 – Shipping Options

Choose your country from our list of destination countries we deliver to.

If you are an overseas customer select a shipping option with (AIR).

Add your postcode/zip and the shopping cart will automatically work out your shipping cost.

Choose from the list of available shipping options.

Checkout – Step 2 – Billing and Shipping

Enter your personal details, shipping address, and payment method and click submit.

Checkout – Step 3 – Payment!

We use Paypal as our payment gateway, you can choose to use either your credit card for your payments OR if you have a paypal account you can sign and use your paypal account to make your payment.

Checkout – Step 4 – Success!

Well done! Purchasing at Patchwork Interactive is that easy. Your order will now be processed and should be despatched within 24 hours depending on whether the purchase was made on a weekend or a weekday.

Logout

When you have completed your shopping at Patchwork Interactive it's always a good idea to logout to keep others from seeing your account details. After certain sensitive actions, or after a period of inactivity of approximately 20 minutes, you will automatically be logged out. To log back in, just click the Login link in the navigation bar and enter your email address and password.
